How do you charge for long distance?

For long-distance moves, Swift Movers typically charges hourly during loading, along with any packing supplies used. Once loading is complete, the loading time stops and a one-time trip cover applies for travel. Hourly billing then resumes again at the unload location.

How far in advance should I book?

Swift Movers recommends booking as early as possible, especially during weekends, holidays, and the busy summer season. While we can sometimes accommodate last-minute moves, scheduling 1–3 weeks in advance usually provides the best availability and scheduling flexibility.

Do you mix items with other people's items?

No. Swift Movers does not mix your household items with other customers’ belongings during transport. Your move is handled separately to help provide better organization, accountability, and care for your furniture and personal items throughout the moving process.
